Fiction to Fact: Hidden in the Plain Sight
Fiction becomes fact in the tale where truth is presented with fictional audacity and a excellent example of how such audacity has been blatantly slapped across the face of everyday unassuming Americans without recourse or without a clue of what is truly revealed in this book. A very good read and highly suggested.
Historical Document
I picked this up because I knew of Colonel House, FDR's aide.
My, what a bad book. It reads poorly, with long-winded soliloquies and extensive descriptions. I do not know if this is a good example of American novels in the 1910's, but it is seems bad to a modern reader. Perhaps a serious student of Colonel House ought to read this. It seems to have no value as a novel.
